Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc.
It has also been widely used for making tableware due to properties such as low melting point, high machinability (both with hand tools and modern turning and milling machines), durability and electrical and thermal conductivity.
Brass waste
– Pure industrial scrap or unused material from CuZn28-CuZn37 alloys, made from sheets, strips, pipes, wires, rods, lamellae
– Pure industrial scrap from alloys CuZn36-39 Pb1 1.0 – 3.5 created from pressed and drawn products without coatings. This waste includes ingots weighing up to 30 kg
– Bushings – large from CuZn28-30 alloys
– Bushings – small from CuZn28-30 alloys
– Collectible brass from mass consumption
– Brass veneer made of automatic brass CuZn36-39 Pb1.0-3.5% and small steaks from wire and rod
The presence of up to 0.5% of oil, moisture, emulsion is allowed, without Fe filings and non-metallic impurities.
